Camas School District is offering a $2,000 signing bonus, $1,000 paid once hired, and an additional $1,000 after completing 480 hours behind the wheel.
The starting wage is $30.56/hour or more, depending on years of experience.

We have driver trainers on staff to ensure you secure your CDL with endorsement. Camas School District is offering a $1,000 Hiring Bonus: $500 after securing CDL & additional $500 after completing 480 hours behind the wheel.
In addition, Camas School District pays the following fees: CDL Permit Fee – $40.00 General Knowledge School Bus (S) Endorsement, Air Brake & Passenger Endorsement – $35.00 Fingerprint background check $82.00 Third Party Exam – $100.00 CDL New License – $156.00 1st Aid/CPR: $100.00 DOT Physical/Pre-Employment drug screen: $100.00 Driving Abstract: $15.00 Trainees will be paid $18.00 per hour up to 40 hours of behind the wheel training & 40 hours of required classroom training.
We pride ourselves in our training program. You will train behind the wheel with driver trainers, and other drivers to learn the routes prior to operating a school bus with students onboard. We want you to be familiar with the school bus you operate, the bus stops, and the travel area. In addition, we provide electronic tablets that provide turn-by-turn instructions.
