Prune Hill Penguins are off and running... literally! This year’s Ocean to Ocean challenge invites every K–5 student to set a personal fitness goal and track their miles from September through May. The big question: Can our students collectively “travel” from the Pacific to the Atlantic?

During recess, lunch, classroom movement breaks, and even special family fitness events, students log miles by walking, jogging, or running on the Ocean to Ocean trail. Each completed mileage card earns a new level, a spot in the lobby display, and a growing sense of accomplishment. Along the way, students build healthy habits, practice goal-setting, and celebrate milestones together.

At the end of the year, top mile-earners from each grade—and across the whole school—will be honored with medals during the final assembly. Rain or shine, Prune Hill is moving with purpose, energy, and community spirit! #WellnessNavigator
