Kindergarten Schedule
The Washington Kindergarten Inventory of Developing Skills (WaKIDS) is a program designed to help ensure that children in Washington receive a strong start in kindergarten. A component of WaKIDS is Family Connection, which offers families the opportunity to meet individually with their child’s kindergarten teacher at the beginning of the school year.
These individual meetings are designed to welcome families to the school and provide a safe environment for them to speak freely with the teacher. They help families and teachers establish relationships, enabling them to collaborate and support children's success in school. Meetings will be scheduled individually with your child’s teacher.
Camas kindergartners will have an altered schedule at the beginning of the school year to accommodate the Family Connection meetings as required by OSPI.
