When there is a change in time, date, or place, public notice is given through the news media. All workshops, regular board meetings, and special board meetings are open to the public. All actions authorized or required by law are taken at both special and regular meetings. The board may, however, meet in closed (executive) sessions to review applicant qualifications, assess the qualifications of candidates for board appointment, consider the acquisition of real estate, sale or lease of real estate, evaluate performance on publicly bid contracts, discuss attorney-client matters, or consider employee discipline or performance.
