Students at Woodburn Elementary School were recently celebrated at a Way of the Wolf awards assembly that recognized positive character and choices. Four students from each class, across all grade levels, earned the award for consistently demonstrating responsibility, respect, safety, and kindness. Pictured on stage are the second-grade recipients.
The assembly also introduced a fun new surprise: a top-secret Golden Line Award! One class in each grade level received this honor for lining up after recess in a calm, quiet, and respectful way. Nominations came directly from playground supervision paraprofessionals, who observe these moments each day.
