Teachers in costumes

Prune Hill Elementary staff turned the school staircase into a page right out of a storybook this Halloween! Dressed as beloved characters from favorite children’s books and movies, staff celebrated the joy of storytelling and imagination.

The activity is more than just fun—it’s a reminder of how stories help spark curiosity, build empathy, and make learning come alive. By stepping into the shoes (and costumes!) of storybook heroes and villains, Prune Hill educators showed students that great stories can inspire, connect, and ignite a lifelong love of reading.
