Camas High School’s Team 744, the Frosh Magnetos, has earned national recognition by winning the Co-Designer Award at the prestigious 2024–2025 MIT/Beaver Works CRE[AT]E Challenge!
Freshmen Katherine Liu and Emily Liu worked closely with their co-designer, Mrs. Carson—a Camas School District staff member and stroke survivor—to develop customized assistive products that improve independence and quality of life. Their thoughtful,
innovative work stood out among top teams across the country. The team was supported by mentor Dr. Gang Liu, Beaver Works, and CHS's Ms. Abe.
We are so proud of you, Katherine and Emily! Your work makes a difference.
