Staff Online Training

Hello Camas School District Staff!

SafeSchools is an online training program available for Washington State school employees. It is a nationally recognized program that provides helpful, informative training to keep school district employees in compliance with state and federal employee training requirements. When you log into the system, it will show you all the required training and optional training that may be of interest.

Follow these simple steps below to access and complete your specific training requirements:

  • Click this link: www.SafeSchools.com

  • Log in to the system with your username, which follows this format: first.last

  • Select the course you wish to complete by simply clicking on the name of the course. The courses have audio, so turn up your speakers. Complete all the training scenarios and the assessment to receive full credit for the course. You will have the option to print out a Certificate of Completion once you complete the course.

All required training must be completed by December 31 each year. Training should be done during your regular work hours. If you are not able to complete the courses during your regular work hours, you must arrange a time with your supervisor. Most courses take between 15 to 25 minutes to complete.

Teachers, most of the training qualifies for clock hours. Visit the ESD112 website for information and/or to apply for clock hours.

If you have any questions about training or have trouble with your login, please contact Amie Stewart in HR at ext. 89960.
