Continue to check our website frequently for additional programs to be posted. Children attending CCE/JWR programs must be fully toilet trained, able to self-feed, participate independently, and behave in such a way that they do not pose a harm to self or others. If a student is not capable of these guidelines, then supportive accommodations from family or a representative is welcome. Safe behavior is expected.
**After-school instructors do not have access to a child’s rescue meds at school and are not trained to administer them.
A 4% processing fee for credit card transactions will be the responsibility of the purchaser. To avoid that fee you can pay with cash or check. Mailing in a registration form does not guarantee a spot in the class. If the class fills up before we receive the form you will be placed on a waitlist.

There is a $5 per minute late pickup fee.
Refunds & Cancellations
There is a 10% processing fee (up to $20 max per purchase) for refunds or cancellations if the office is notified one week prior to the start of camp. After this time no refunds will be issued.
Our office will issue refunds only – no changes. If you need to make a change, a refund will be given (minus the processing fee) and you must purchase the new camp.

Journey to STEAM Legos
Grades: 1-5, Discover the pinnacle of LEGO® education with Journey to STEAM, offering tailored programs for students in grades 1-5. The curriculum weaves science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) into engaging learning experiences powered by LEGO®. Unleash the potential of holistic education through this innovative LEGO® program. Classes taught by Journey to STEAM staff.
This session is Lego Mechanical Engineers: In this fun and challenging engineering program, engineers will learn how gears, levers, wheels, and pulleys work and use them to create moving machines.

Kitchen Science
Grades: 2-5, Each day our Scientists will use scientific methods and kitchen items to create amazing experiments including: bubbles, slime, volcanoes and more! Taught by YMCA staff.

Lego Class
Lego Jr. grades: K-1, Design your masterpiece, and then create it! Each day your architect will be given a building project that they must design and build with Legos. Taught by YMCA staff. Grades: 2-5, Use the Birdbrain Robotics Hummingbird Kit to create robotic mechanisms that animate a static picture with motion and interactive features. Combine engineering and creativity to make your artwork come alive. Taught by iSTEM Instructors.

iSTEM Civil Engineering with ONI
Grades: 2-5, Inspired by the game, Oxygen Not Included, students will understand engineering principles and systems by solving challenges in a virtual environment. They will learn how to build, manage and expand a spacefaring colony. Taught by iSTEM Instructors.

iSTEM Scratch Game Development
Grades: 2-5, Embark on an exciting journey into the world of game development with our hands-on course using Scratch, the intuitive programming language developed by MIT! This course is designed for students who are enthusiastic about creating their own interactive games and learning the fundamentals of coding through a playful and engaging platform. In this course, students will explore the principles of game design and programming by building one guided and one custom game with Scratch. Scratch’s block-based interface makes it easy for beginners to grasp programming concepts and unleash their creativity without the complexity of traditional coding languages.

Elementary Science Day Camp
Grades: 2-5, this camp is organized and ran by the CHS Science Olympiad Team and designed specifically for elementary students interested in science.
