Continue to check our website frequently for additional programs to be posted. Children attending CCE/JWR programs must be fully toilet trained, able to self-feed, participate independently, and behave in such a way that they do not pose a harm to self or others. If a student is not capable of these guidelines, then supportive accommodations from family or a representative is welcome. Safe behavior is expected.

**After-school instructors do not have access to a child’s rescue meds at school and are not trained to administer them.

  • A 4% processing fee for credit card transactions will be the responsibility of the purchaser. To avoid that fee you can pay with cash or check. Mailing in a registration form does not guarantee a spot in the class. If the class fills up before we receive the form you will be placed on a waitlist.

There is a $5 per minute late pickup fee.

Refunds & Cancellations

  • There is a 10% processing fee (up to $20 max per purchase) for refunds or cancellations if the office is notified one week prior to the start of camp. After this time no refunds will be issued.

  • Our office will issue refunds only – no changes. If you need to make a change, a refund will be given (minus the processing fee) and you must purchase the new camp.

Ages 9-13, Young engineers will explore robotics, coding, and real-world problem-solving, all while having a blast with hands-on challenges and teamwork! MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS!!
THE SUMMER STEM LAB is a 7-week program for motivated middle/high school students (entering Grades 7-11) interested in artificial intelligence, innovation, and real-world problem solving. Students will explore foundational AI and machine learning concepts while building research, critical thinking, and project design skills. Students will complete a capstone project—such as an AI prototype, website, or research-based solution—and present their work during a final symposium. Instructors: Students of MST Magnet program along with teacher Brianna Abraham.

This is a fundraiser for the MST (math, science, technology) program to support research projects and student activities.

For students entering 7-11 grades

Grades K-5 - Get ready to explore, build, and experiment! This camp will dive deeper into physics concepts through screen-free, hands-on experiments that culminate in exciting engineering projects. SUPER MARIO GAME MAKERS: CODING & DESIGN (Code 4160-26)
Entering grades 2-5: Students learn to code by building their very own Super Mario-style platformer game — complete with characters, obstacles, power-ups, and levels. No coding experience needed — lessons start with the basics and build up to a finished game they can share with friends and family. Based on curriculum from Harvard University's Creative Computing Lab. Location: Zellerbach Admin Center, Computer Lab. Instructor: Journey to STEAM staff.

iSTEM 3D PRINTING (code 4138-26)
Entering grades 2-5: Learn how ideas become real objects using professional-grade 3D design/printing tools. Create your own digital models in Onshape, a powerful browser-based design program used by real engineers, then bring those designs to life on high-speed Bambu Lab 3D Printers. Through hands-on projects, students will explore basic engineering, problem-solving, & creative design while learning how to prototype toys, tools, and inventions. MINECRAFT MAKERS: CODE, DESIGN & PLAY (Code 4161-26)
Entering grades 2-5: Students learn real coding skills by programming their own Minecraft agent to solve challenges, build structures, and complete missions — then level up to designing interactive Minecraft worlds with custom game mechanics. The week wraps up with a playtest arcade where everyone tries each other's creations. No coding experience needed. Location: Zellerbach Admin Center, Computer Lab. Instructor: Journey to STEAM staff.

Go Green Science Camp (code:4082-26)
Ages: 8-12, Come learn about sustainable environmental practices from seed germination and gardening basics to the raising of chickens.
