Continue to check our website frequently for additional programs to be posted. Children attending CCE/JWR programs must be fully toilet trained, able to self-feed, participate independently, and behave in such a way that they do not pose a harm to self or others. If a student is not capable of these guidelines, then supportive accommodations from family or a representative is welcome. Safe behavior is expected.

**After-school instructors do not have access to a child’s rescue meds at school and are not trained to administer them.

  • A 4% processing fee for credit card transactions will be the responsibility of the purchaser. To avoid that fee you can pay with cash or check. Mailing in a registration form does not guarantee a spot in the class. If the class fills up before we receive the form you will be placed on a waitlist.

Late pick up fee is $5 per minute

Refunds & Cancellations

  • There is a 10% processing fee (up to $20 max per purchase) for refunds or cancellations if the office is notified one week prior to the start of camp. After this time no refunds will be issued.

  • Our office will issue refunds only – no changes. If you need to make a change, a refund will be given (minus the processing fee) and you must purchase the new camp.

  • There are NO REFUNDS for Chefs in Training or Sew Fun classes.

Chefs In Training - "Whisked Away: The Science of Baking", Entering grades 2-5
Learn to read recipes, use kitchen tools and learn skills and techniques needed for baking. Kids will create items to take home each day, and will come home at the end of the week with a recipe book to recreate the dishes at home! Please bring a water bottle, 3 containers & carrying bag each day. Location: Zellerbach Admin Center (ZAC). Instructors: Rachelle Collins and Tracey Strawbridge. No refunds within 4 days of class! Please note that this class does not accommodate for food allergies. Peanut butter, gluten, eggs, and dairy will be used.

Learn how to cook dishes for each meal of the day: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Dessert! We'll learn to use multiple kitchen tools that are commonly found in your kitchen. Kids will finish the series with the skills and recipes to help their family cook any meal of the day! Please bring a water bottle, 3 containers & carrying bag each day. Location: Zellerbach Admin Center (ZAC). Instructors: Rachelle Collins and Tracey Strawbridge. No refunds within 4 days of class! Please note that this class does not accommodate for food allergies. Y Chef Around the World - NEW CLASS ADDED 5/15
Ages 6-12, The Y Chef Around the World camp lets kids explore different countries through hands-on cooking, cultural crafts and group activities each day. Campers will build teamwork, creativity and kitchen skills while learning about foods and traditions from around the world in a fun and active environment. Bring sack lunch, snack, and water bottle to camp daily. Location: Zellerbach Admin. Center (ZAC). Led by YMCA staff

Ice Cream Workshops - 1 day camp held at Liberty Middle School
Get ready for a sweet and hands on adventure! In this exciting ice cream making class, kids will learn how their favorite frozen treat is made from start to finish. We'll explore the basics of ice cream science while mixing, shaking and creating delicious homemade ice cream in a variety of fun flavors. , Instructor: Rachelle Collins and Tracey Strawbridge.
