Camas Youth Basketball League (CYBL) - Recreational
Grades: 3-8, Beginner to Intermediate (this is not competitive level play)
Join the fun with CYBL! The focus of this recreational league is on teamwork, skills and having fun. Volunteer coaches are required to run this league. You may be asked to coach or co-coach your child's team. Team and grade divisions will be determined after registration has closed. All requests must be made at time of registration. Requests are not always possible since there is a limited amount of children allowed on each team. Team placement priority goes to Camas students.
The first registration deadline is 09/16. Fee increases $40 after that date until registration closes on 10/16 at noon. Registration will close earlier if maximum enrollment is met.
* * If you have specific question email CCELeagues@camas.wednet.edu. Rachel Best cannot answer basketball questions at this time. Her priority is Extended Day Care.
** Coaches will be contacted and there will be a coaches meeting before the league starts. Please save all questions for that time.
**Athletes choosing to "play up" has become a problem this season. Because of this issue it is essential to enforce the rule that children must register for the grade they are currently in, as this practice unfairly takes up spots for players who belong in that age group. Please remember this is a Rec league. Competitive players should register for the Competitive program.
Practices start the week of 11/10. Games are on Saturdays, 12/06-02/07
Grade: 3-4: $149, fee increases to $189 after 09/16 (one practice per week)
