Staff, as we head into a week of Thanksgiving, I am happy to share a special message from our teaching and learning team for this week’s message of HOPE & JOY.  Best wishes for a wonderful week!

Jeff

“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow” — Melody Beattie

We are separated by physical space. Our sense of normal has been flipped upside down. We work tirelessly doing our jobs remotely. We are constantly trying to redefine who we are in this virtual world and always looking for signs of impact and success. We are mentally exhausted. And yet, we still have the strength to be grateful. Gratitude is the manifestation of love, devotion, and commitment towards those who mean the most to us. It encompasses shared experiences, shared love, and an understanding that when it feels like the universe has conspired against us, it’s really conspired to keep us together, and helps us understand how connected we really are. With gratitude comes a sense of peace that who we are and what we have is enough. YOU ARE ENOUGH.

To express our gratitude, we’d like to kick off the Thanksgiving break with you!

Join us for a ZOOM mob (a virtual flash mob of sorts) for a celebratory kickoff to Thanksgiving break Tuesday morning 8:50-9:00 a.m. A calendar invite will follow.

Gratefully,

The Teaching and Learning Team
