With the challenging changes for everyone, the Family & Community Resource Center has become a safe haven for more and more families. Watch this short video with Olivia Eagle and learn about the kinds of services available, how to refer students in need, and how to help. https://youtu.be/PAJ3imPzwH0
We know that for learning to happen students need to feel safe and supported. That starts with basic needs and continues with the relationships we develop and sustain each and every day. The Family & Community Resource Center provides essentials for students and families, hopefully taking away a little stress in an uncertain time. Olivia talks about the importance of both. “I want to cultivate this resource center to be a safe spot, a safe haven where people can come in and rest and find what they need. We want people to know they’re loved and cared for.”
Thanks, Olivia, for leading this important effort to support our community.
I hope you all have a great week!
