It feels like every day there is a lot of hard stuff that is so challenging, and it keeps adding up. The community that you build with each other and our students and families is even more important than ever.
We intentionally focused on Social Emotional Learning and relationships for this school year for obvious reasons. A huge thanks to the team that put together the professional learning experiences for us to support that focus. I learned so much and am trying to apply it to the way I engage with students, staff, and the community. For this week’s HOPE & JOY I interviewed middle school teachers to talk about what has been helpful for them in creating a community for students so far during Remote Learning 2.0. Enjoy!
