As we continue on this journey of a school year, we have experienced so many transitions that require a lot of time, attention, and energy. This week is another big one as we welcome our elementary students four days a week. Thank you elementary team for all of the work that went into making this happen for our students. This past weekend was another example of making it work with the Camas Education Foundation’s (CEF) annual auction gala – all done online with local food pick-up in our community. We greatly appreciate the support we’ve received from CEF through the years and their creativity in this year’s event!
We will pay attention to how our state department of health responds to the CDC’s recent update to their school guidance. (No immediate change in school reopening plans based on new CDC guidelines, Washington state officials say, Seattle Times) At Monday’s school board meeting we’ll review the CDC update.
