Thank you to all who were able to attend our first virtual town hall meeting about our school district. We shared some information about what’s happening at the State level regarding the fall and what that could mean for us here in Camas. We also discussed how we are organizing the planning work and highlighted different ways you can contribute to our collective thinking. Finally, we engaged in a virtual conversation about our hopes and concerns for school in the fall.
If you would like to access the video of the Town Hall, you can do so at https://youtu.be/ogqZs7APT2A.
As we move forward with planning for school in the fall, it is critical that we hear from you. Next week we will be sending out an anonymous survey to both families and students (grades 3-12) about the three months of remote learning including learning and social-emotional needs. In the town hall and other exchanges, you’ve shared concern about these areas. The information we get from you will inform our planning. Please share your feedback with us and encourage students to do so as well.
If you are interested in helping with planning for fall, please let us know by completing this short survey (https://forms.gle/7fokfzgHYrZEoSZ36). We will be creating feedback loops that inform our planning as we move forward.
