Dear Camas Community,

Last week, the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction released its guidelines for the return to school in the fall.

OSPI’s guidance sets an expectation for schools to reopen for “traditional” in-person learning, following physical distancing protocol as much as possible along with other health and safety practices.

We have been asking for your feedback a lot recently – thank you! This is our last survey of the school year, and it asks for your specific feedback about reopening. You can access the survey at https://forms.gle/aW9xpxcwWmKHCrWJA. In addition to sending the survey to our families, we are also sending the survey to staff and secondary students via their district email. The questions might not be easily understandable for elementary students so we are not sending it to them. If you think they would like to participate, please feel free to help them take the survey. The survey is open until June 21. Thank you in advance for your participation in the survey to help guide the development of our plan.

The health and safety of our students and staff is always a top priority and will remain at the heart of our decision-making as the plan evolves. We appreciate your patience and will continue to keep you informed.

Sincerely,

Jeff Snell, Ed.D.

Superintendent
