Dear Camas Community,
As we communicated last week, the school board met on Monday, December 21, to review new guidance from the Department of Health related to reopening schools. The school board adopted several updates that I wanted to share with you.
- The upper limit for small-group size will now be 15 students to align with the DOH recommendation.
- A timeline for increasing in-person learning in the HIGH COVID-19 Activity Level Range was adopted (see table below).
- A timeline for increasing in-person learning in the MODERATE COVID-19 Activity Level Range was adopted (see presentation slides from the meeting HERE). A recording of the meeting will be available in the near future at http://www.bit.ly/camassb.
Thank you for your patience as we navigate this ever-changing landscape. We will have another Town Hall on Tuesday, January 12, from 5:30 – 6:30 PM to review these updates followed by school meetings to share details about the in-person learning experiences.
Have a safe and happy winter break.
