Greetings,

Did you know that more than 1,000 children in Camas get subsidized nutrition in our schools? Now more than ever, we want to make sure that the neediest among them don’t go hungry over the weekend during this school closure, but supplies are low.

Want to help? We have two essential programs: the Backpack Program and our Family Community Resource Center.

Backpack Program
Managed by some amazing volunteers, the Backpack Program provides easily prepared or ready-to-eat food items to get students through the weekend when schools are not serving meals. You can donate directly at the Treasure House and specify the items are for the Camas Backpack Program. (http://www.ifth-cw.org

Family Community Resource Center
Housed in the Jack, Will, and Rob Center, the FCRC helps families by providing non-perishable food, household/hygiene items, school supplies, clothing, and essential services to families in need. Currently, the biggest need is for food. You can drop off food items at the Jack, Will & Rob Center (2033 NE Ione Street, Camas) between 8:30 AM and 3 PM. Or, you can donate online: (http://bit.ly/2U1U78K).

Thank you for your consideration!
