Dear Camas Families,

As you are well aware, school has changed rapidly and dramatically since March 13. There have been many moments to celebrate and many opportunities for us to grow in the world of remote learning. In our April survey, you shared appreciation for things that were working well as well as concern in areas where you felt we could improve. This information, in addition to experiences since then, has further informed our perspectives, which will help us plan for the fall.

As we head into June, I wanted to share some updates, and invite you to attend a virtual Town Hall meeting on Thursday, June 4, from 6 to 7 PM.

In the Town Hall meeting, I will be sharing with you what’s happening at the State level regarding the fall and what that could mean for us here in Camas. I’ll let you know how we’re organizing the planning work and highlight different ways you can contribute to our collective thinking. After a short presentation, you’ll be able to engage in a conversation where you offer ideas, share concerns, and/or ask questions, and others can build upon those. We’ll then respond to specific questions and address themes that emerge from the conversation.

Thank you for your partnership this spring.
