Dear Camas Community,
Here is your update for the day.
Learning
As we’ve previously shared, we are preparing for our post-spring break learning launch. There are a lot of details to work through still. We are trying out different ways of engaging with students and learning as we go. That learning is important for us in preparing for as smooth of launch as possible. One of the areas we are concentrating on is online safety and etiquette. Reviewing our already existing guidelines (bit.ly/camaschrome) with your student could be helpful. We will be sharing more information about expectations related to online conduct with the launch of the Camas Remote Learning website (bit.ly/camasremotelearning). This site will serve as a hub to help organize information for parents and students. Stay tuned as we add content to the site.
Food Services
To date we have delivered nearly 4,000 meals through onsite pick-ups and elementary bus stop deliveries. We will continue the same service Thursday and Friday this week. During spring break we will be providing meals at the onsite pick-ups only on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 – 11 AM.
Onsite pick-up locations:
- Liberty and Skyridge middle schools
- Woodburn Elementary, Lacamas Lake, Dorothy Fox, Grass Valley, and Prune Hill elementary schools
Facilities, Athletic Fields and Playgrounds Are Closed Until Further Notice
This is just another reminder that CSD facilities including District Office, playgrounds and playfields district-wide are closed as a part of the Governor’s Stay Home and Stay Health guidance.
Thank you,
Jeff Snell, Superintendent
Camas School District
