I hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend. It’s hard to believe we only have four weeks of the 2016-17 school year left.
Our seniors graduate in three weeks! We’ll begin our senior exit interviews this week at Hayes Freedom and then next week at Camas High School. Our goal is to try to interview each of our seniors and learn a little from them about some of the highlights from their time in Camas Schools and also some ideas for how we can better support them. We’ll have a team of over fifty staff members helping us with the interviews. I’m really looking forward to hearing from each senior.
We also are engaging the community with another Thoughtexchange. This is another opportunity for students, staff, and parents to give us feedback. It’s important to hear from many voices from our school community—from those voices, themes arise that reinforce the great work each of you do and provide us with opportunities to consider how we can continue to grow.
Thank you for your hard work this year. We’re in the home stretch! Here’s to a great week of finding JOY and creating HOPE for our students!
