A total of 5 activities must be completed each week.
Required activities:
1. Write the definition - Use a dictionary. No cut and paste from internet 2. Syllables – Use a dictionary. No cut and paste from internet
Choose 3 additional:
3. Write a sentence – Caps, end punctuation, & use word correctly. 4. Flash cards – Practice with teacher & get signature. 5. Write ten times each - Hand written neatly. No cut and paste. 6. Hidden word search – Must be completed by student and all words need to be spelled correctly. 7. Rebus – 3 colors minimum, choose only one word. Theses are hand drawing due to students spending too much time looking for clip art and tends not to get the rest of the contracts finished. Drawing should represent the word spelled correctly. Stick people are great. See example below.
Use all vocabulary words for each activity, except Rebus, which is one word from the vocabulary list.
