I have been teaching in the Camas School District since 1999. Prior to teaching at Skyridge Middle School, I taught at JDZ and D. Fox elementary schools, at each school my focus has been on working with students with disabilities. I graduated from the Evergreen School District (Vancouver, WA) in 1992, spent 5 years in Provo, UT where I graduated from Brigham Young University with a BS in Public School Teaching. Prior to arriving in the Camas School District as a teacher, I taught in the Vancouver and Washougal School Districts. In 2005, I graduated from Lesley University with my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Literacy. For reasons I am still not sure of, I then continued my education and have just finished up all my course work for my Doctorate in Education. My dissertation is a work in progress that I look to have officially completed within the next 9 months. I hold the following teaching endorsements with the State of Washington: Elementary Education Special Education Early Childhood Education Early Childhood Special Education Physical Education Health Traffic Safety Education |
