Student placement into my classes is based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and areas of qualification for services. Therefore, some students are with me for all classes, and others come in for just one. Click on the links to the left to see an overview of each of my classes, as well as, information regarding homework.
Grading Policy: Skyridge Middle School has a set grading policy. Assignments in all classes are weighted evenly, overall grades are determined by the number of points a student earns out of specific number of points possible. Below is a breakdown of letter grades. 100-93% A 92-90 % A- 89-87% B+ 86-83% B 92-80% B- 79-77% C+ 76-73% C 72-70% C- 69-65% D+ 64-60% D 59-0% F
Absences & Late work: The Skyridge Middle School late work policy allows two make-up days for every day the student has an excused absence.
Just plain late work: You always have multiple evening to complete HW, therefore Unless you have made specific arrangements in advance with Ms. Muñoz, no late work will be accepted.
Grade Updates: I will be send home a grade summary every other Friday. These need to be signed and returned each time.
