From the Desk of Ms. Perrin

Welcome to Skyridge Middle School, Home of the Skyhawks!  Our middle school is transitioning into our first year as a sixth through eighth grade middle school with approximately 650 students.  Our outstanding and caring staff members provide skilled instruction based on our state Grade Level Expectations.   In addition to a tradition of excellence in academics and the arts, Skyridge offers numerous extra-curricular activities for our students.
 
The formation of a PTO (Parent-Teacher Organization) at Skyridge is very exciting and will contribute to better parent communication and involvement as well as provide resources to enhance student academic and extra-curricular activities.  Kelly Gallagher is president of our PTO.  Please contact Kelly at (home) 834-7177 or (cell) 503-349-2800 for more information. 

Skyridge is starting a new club for students this year called Science Olympiad.  This is a district-supported endeavor, with clubs also being formed at Liberty and CHS.  Science Olympiad provides opportunities for students to learn science in teams and to develop concepts and skills which will be demonstrated at competitions.  Ms. Kadja is our team coach, and you may contact her at for more information.

Monthly Coffee Talk meetings for parents are held to improve parent-staff communication at Skyridge.  Dates and times are listed each month on DynaCal.  Access information to DynaCal is included below.
