Resource Math

 

Those of you who will be in my math class should expect the following information to be covered during the year.

Whole Numbers

Number Theory

Fractions using addition, subtraction, multiplication and division involving regrouping

Decimals using all four basic operations

Rates and ratios Decimals using all four basic operations

Percent

 

 Our text is Basic Math Skills by A. V. Treff and D.H. Jacobs. This is correlated to the NCTM (National Council of Teachers of Mathematics) Standards.

Due to the individualized and specialized nature of the work our students do, each child has a specially designed course of work he or she will do.
