Home Marilyn Gola’s Kindergarten class
Room 3
Welcome to our classroom website at Helen Baller Elementary located in beautiful Camas, WA.
Some basic information for our 2007 – 2008 school year:
We have PE on Wednesday—don’t forget those tennis shoes! Music is Tuesday and Library is on Thursday. Computer lab time is on Friday.
In our classroom, Room 3, there are a lot of things for you to do that will make our learning together fun. There is a book center, a listening station, writing station, playdough, a home center, building area, Legos, puppets, computers and more!
Planners are an important part of student organization and information.
Please remember to return your child’s planner each day.
Parents are always welcome to help in the classroom with prior notice, and remember, approval by the district is required every other year. If you would like to help, forms are available in the office.
A little information about me:
I graduated from John Brown University in Arkansas with a degree in Art and Design and then from Concordia University in Portland, OR with a degree in Elementary Education.
I have enjoyed teaching elementary school for 9 years. I am so excited to teach Kindergarten because it is such a special year for children.
I live in Washougal with my husband, Ken, and two kids, Shane, who is 4 and Olivia who is 1. We also have a dog named Zieger. We love to play outside and go hiking in the woods around our house.
To do a good job in Kindergarten you need to do the following things:
· Get a good night’s sleep every night.
· Eat a healthy meal before coming to school.
· Come to school ready to learn!
· Bring your planner and backpack to school every day.
