Hi!

Welcome Back! After 24 years in Kindergarten I am moving up! I am so excited that I get to be your teacher for First Grade and I am looking forward to learning all kinds of things along with you.

Let me tell you a little about me and my family! My husband’s name is Jerry and we have four children, both big and getting bigger! Our older sons, Jason and Grant live and work in Vancouver. Brennan is 15 years old and is going to be a sophomore at Camas High School this year. Maggie is 13 and is moving on to the challenges of middle school at Liberty in the 8^th grade.

I like to listen to music, watch old movies, do crafts, decorate, read books and magazines, and try to keep up with my kids! What are your favorite things to do?

One of the first things you will notice about First Grade is that we moved! Our room number is 11 and we have lots of fun things for you to do that will make our learning together fun. We have a book center, a listening center, writing station, home center, Lego’s, blocks and cars, puppets, playdough, and MUCH MORE!

Besides all of the fun things we do in Room 11 back to school l, we will also go to P.E. class, Music class, and to our school library to listen to stories and check out books.
