Welcome to Room 4’s “land of kindergarten”…..a place where learning is approached in a fun, challenging, and developmentally appropriate manner!

I am proud not only have Camas as my “home town”, but also as the only school district in which I’ve taught for the last 35 years!   My work in the classroom started after receiving my teaching degree from Central Washington State College (and later my Masters from the same institution.) The first 15 years of my career were spent in first and second grades and then I settled into kindergarten….truly an amazing world of its own!

To do a good job in Kindergarten you need to do the following things:

·        Get a good night’s  sleep every night.

·        Eat a healthy meal before coming to school.

·        Come to school ready to learn!

·        Bring your planner and backpack to school every day.
