Welcome to my website!              Thanks for clicking in.

Dorothy Fox is a great school and it is my privilege to be the school counselor. The kids get to know me as someone who helps them solve problems, calm down or feel better.

I very much enjoy working with parents like you. My goal is to help your son or daughter be as successful as possible in school. Sometimes that means connecting you with the right person at school for academic help. Other times it means friendship, grief, anger, or social skill practice. Just think of me as someone who helps you find resources to do and be your best.

I love to help.

Sincerely,

Chris Baxter

Biography-

I grew up in Vancouver. Graduated from Columbia River High school, and went on to Western Washington University. There I earned a BA in Psychology and a minor in English. After deciding that working in the elementary schools as a school counselor was the right fit for my interests and skills I went on to Lewis and Clark College in Portland. There I received my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and my School Counselors license from the state of Washington.

I have a wonderful wife, Allison, and two gregarious boys. I love water sports, triathlon, remodeling homes, and of course, supporting and educating your children as a school counselor here in Camas. I have been a counselor at Dorothy Fox since 1997. I love what I do and want to continue being the best support I can to you, our school and your children.
