Camas School District provides safe, efficient, and reliable transportation for eligible students to and from school and off-campus enrichment opportunities.
Students outside a one-mile radius of their assigned school are eligible to ride the bus.
Riding with Friends
If your child would like to go home on the bus with another student, or if a another student would like to accompany your child home on the bus, a signed note is required. All bus notes must be turned in to the main office at your school in order for a pass to be generated by staff.
In the event that school is closed or delayed due to inclement weather, the district’s emergency notification system will call parents at their home number around 6:00 a.m. to announce late start or closure information. If snow routes are in effect, the message will indicate so. Click here to to view the snow routes.
If no announcement is made, bus routes and pick-up times will run as usual. Parents are asked to refrain from calling the district office or schools as high call volumes can shut down the phone system.
