Welcome Penguins, New and Old, to the 2007-2008 School Year! BIG NEWS: PHE PTA purchases Document Cameras and Projectors for EVERY CLASSROOM IN THE SCHOOL!!! Thanks to our Carnival and other fundraising efforts, the PTA was able to contribute $11,000 towards equipping every classroom with this critical equipment. Thank you for helping all of our children see and learn more easily!!
Kindergarten: We’re learning basic Computer Lab rules, and we’ll begin our first few weeks doing a fun graphics program called “KidPix”, which helps us learning small muscle control with the mouse and keyboard.
1st Grade: It’s basic Computer Lab rules and learning to log on and log off with our “Secret Passwords”. Then we’re off and running!
2nd Grade: It’s a Computer Lab Orientation that includes not only basic rules, but also some principles of networking and how to safely use the internet at school. Look for work from us in just a few weeks!
