Mission Statement

The staff in the operations department support and success of Camas School District students, staff and community patrons by providing buildings, campuses, and athletic complexes that are clean, comfortable, functional, and safe learning environments.

About Us

The Operations Director has six essential areas of responsibility: building maintenance, custodial services, field maintenance, school safety, warehouse/inventory, and resource conservation management. Interwoven through each of these divisions is the responsibility of caring workmanship, sound environmental strategies, and energy management.

The Operations Department and its employees work with district administrators, parents, and the community to ensure we are safely and efficiently meeting the goals and expectations of our department. The men and women of the Operations Department are proud to be part of a team of dedicated professionals providing quality facilities and services for Camas Public School students and staff. One of our major goals is to respond quickly to requests with quality work and service. We seek and welcome feedback to identify and implement program improvements to maximize our performance and efficiency.

We continually seek effective and innovative solutions to address the needs of the Camas School District students, staff, and patrons within the parameters of our resources. We will strive to effectively manage the district’s operations, assets, and resources to ensure the fiscal integrity of the district and sound stewardship of the taxpayer’s investment.
