Mr. Warren

I am greatly honored to be part of the Liberty community. As a Camas School District "newbie" this year, I have felt very welcome and by students and staff and have really enjoyed the experience of helping open our second middle school.

Much of our focus thus far has been on building a safe, collaborative, and inviting community within Liberty's walls. Opening a new school has given us the opportunity to draw on our students' and staff members' varied experiences to create a rich and supportive culture dedicated to producing knowledgeable, caring citizens.

My commitment to Liberty Middle School is centered on these beliefs:

• All kids can learn.
• Learning is about relationships. It's about making connections among people and ideas.
• What we teach must be relevant and challenging.
• Mutual trust and respect, both among and between kids and adults, is paramount.
• Given the opportunity, students will meet and exceed our expectations.
