After such a great visit in 2004, Kristin and Todd returned to share their expertise for all grades K-5, a clinic with JDZ JAZZ!!, an all-school assembly, and an after-school bass workshop. |

JDZ JAZZ!! Will travel to Edmonds Community College for a non-competitive performance and jazz clinics. Four students received “Outstanding Musicianship” Awards during our last visit! We look forward to seeing our friends in “Soundsation” once again. |

Makiya, Ella, Acacia and Alexa will participate in this regional honor choir under the direction of Dr. Patty Bourne. We will host the event in the Joyce Garver Theater all day with rehearsals and a final performance at 4:00 pm. |

Northwest Vocal Jazz Festival 16 May, 2008 |

We will compete in the jr. high division of the festival at Mt. Hood Community College. The top two groups perform again in the evening and a place is given for third place. In 2006 we earned 6 Outstanding Musician Awards and a plaque for third place! |

The trio presented workshops in the music room for grades 3-5 and JDZ JAZZ!!. JDZ JAZZ!! then had the pleasure or performing two songs with this trio during their show called “Swingin’ the Benny Goodman Songbook” which was sponsored by the Camas Performing Artists Series the following evening. |

This is the evening where all classrooms will be open to display their talents. The event concludes with all grade levels singing a folk song in the JDZ gym. JDZ JAZZ!! Will lead the entire crowd in our closing number “You Are My Sunshine.” |
