Music at Helen Baller is enthusiastic and fun with a purpose! The curriculum consists of Share the Music, Orff-Schulwerk and Teresa Jennings Recorder Karate. Songs, percussion, movement and literature, Recorder and games are used to highlight and assess Music Standards for the State of Washington. Children participate in at least one concert a year. Third and fourth grade have an opportunity to join a lunch “Musiking” performing group. They present “Lunch Theatres” periodically, night concerts and assemblies. |
