Advanced PlacementAdvanced placement (AP) is a program that offers students on opportunity to take one or more college-level courses while still in high school. AP exams allow students to earn college credit before graduation from high school. AP touches on a universe of knowledge that might otherwise remain unexplored in high school. Each course is a unique learning experience in which students explore subjects from a variety of perspectives. Course descriptions, released exams, grade reporting and a host of additional information can be found at collegeboard.com. |
