0300P: Planning Process

Strategic Visioning and Planning Team Selection – Because the selection of the visioning team involves the entire community, the superintendent, in consultation with the board, shall choose a representative membership must include representatives from the general community (parents, patrons, interest group representatives and business leaders), staff, board members and students. The core team shall select a broader representation of leaders from the groups listed above. The larger group shall choose the chair, establish a meeting schedule and conduct the visioning process. Over the course of the scheduled meetings a draft strategic plan is provided.

Action Planning Task Forces – The action planning task forces develop the strategic action plans that govern the implementation of the strategic plan. The visioning team nominates people for selection by the superintendent to serve on action planning task forces.
