The following is a list of questions we receive on a regular basis.

Q: What time does school start?
A: Helen Baller - 9:00 a.m.; Lacamas Heights - 9:00 a.m.; Dorothy Fox - 9:00 a.m.; Prune Hill - 9:00; JDZ - 8:55 a.m.; Liberty - 7:45 a.m.; Skyridge - 7:45 a.m.; CHS - 7:30 a.m.

Q: What time are students released?
A: On Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday elementary students are released at the following times: Helen Baller - 3:25 p.m.; Lacamas Heights - 3:30 p.m.; Dorothy Fox - 3:30 p.m.; Prune Hill - 3:20 p.m.; JDZ - 3:15 p.m. Skyridge students are released at 2:20 p.m. and CHS are released at 2:10 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Q: What time are the elementary students released on Wednesday?
A: Helen Baller - 1:10 p.m.; Lacamas Heights - 1:10 p.m.; Dorothy Fox - 1:10 p.m.; Prune Hill - 1:15 p.m.; JDZ - 1:00 p.m.

Q: Why do we have early release on Wednesday for elementary students?
A: Early release gives our elementary teachers planning time commensurate with our high school teachers. This period allows for class planning, special conferences and team meetings.

Q: When is the last day of school? When is graduation? What days are late start for secondary students? How long is winter break? When is spring break?
A: All of these questions are answered on our calendar page.

Q: How can I find current test scores?
A: Visit our test scores page for WASL, SAT and ITBS scores.

Q: When does Highly Capable testing take place?
A: In the spring.

Q: What is the boundary exception process? At what point are incoming boundary exceptions denied?
A: Most boundary exception questions can be answered on the boundary exception page.

Q: I went to school here 30 years ago (or last year). How do I get my transcripts/records?
A: If you are school aged, contact the school you would be attending if still enrolled. If you are older than school age, contact the Camas High School.

Q: We just moved to Camas. How do I find out what school my child is supposed to attend?
A: Parents can get a general idea of which elementary school their children should attend by viewing our boundary maps. For the most specific boundary information, parents should call the transportation office at 360-833-5586.
