Web Design & Dreamweaver MX Our goals for our class... 1.
Identify how Dreamweaver can be used to access and edit web pages
via a local drive and web server.
2. Set up a web site and establish web pages within that site both locally and on the remote web server. 3. Identify the various menus and there applications within Dreamweaver. 4. Create a web page design layout from scratch or select one from a pre-designed template. 5. Edit and apply various properties within a web page. (ex. page properties, text, graphics, etc.) 6. Apply various graphics to a web page layout. 7. Apply local and remote internet links to your web pages. 8.
Perform basic graphic editing tasks using Fireworks and Photoshop.
9. Create and edit tables for various layout needs. 10. Apply and edit layers within a page. 11. Create Rollover Images. 12. Create Pop Menus. 13. Create Navigation Bars. 14. Create and edit image maps for pages. 15. Create jump menus. 16. Understand how frame pages are created. 17. Create and add forms to a page.
