Web Site Design - Personal Home Page Assignment

Overview

The purpose of this activity is to provide you with an opportunity to create a personal internet web site (page) relating to you and some of your personal interests.  You will be gathering and organizing information and graphically laying out a web page with the outlined content.  All your page contents will be pre-approved by the course instructor and will be subject to editing.

Layout Requirements

2. Create a page (banner) in a gaphic program (Fireworks, Photoshop) for each page in the site.
   
   
3. Create an ( introduction paragraph) with ( hyperlinks) to additonal reference information on key words in each paragraph.
   
   
4. Create a (navigation scheme) and or menu system for your site?
   
   
5. Create a main site page called index.html and create links to the following pages outlined in steps 6 through 10.
   
   
6. Create a page relating to a Career interest you have ... (Include a Job Description, 5 Related Links, 2-4 Graphics)
   
   
7. Create a page realting to your favorite Hobby or Sport (Information Pharagraph with 5 Related Links & 2-4 Graphics)
   
   
8. Create a page realting to your favorite Music Group or Artist(Information Pharagraph with 5 Related Links & 2-4 Graphics)
   
   
9. Create a page relating to a Vacation location you would hope to visit someday or return to at some point in your life. Share with others what so special about the location. (Information Pharagraph with 5 Related Links & 2-4 Graphics)
   
   
10. Design one Elective topic page of your choice. Possible examples; Snow boarding, Fly fishing, a favorite Sports Team, Athlete, Movie, Book, TV Show, etc.. (Information Pharagraph with 5 Related Links & 2-4 Graphics)
    
    
11. Create your favorite Internet Web Resource Links Page. List sites and categorized with some descriptions (12 -15 site links)
