Graphics Teachers across S.W. Washington

The Seventh Annual Greater St. Helen’s Graphic Competition is upon us. Macromedia has once again sponsored this competition. Last year’s competition brought in over 105 entries. This year’s goal is over 150. We have received our prizes from our sponsor, Macromedia. We have two copies of Macromedia’s latest version of Studio MX, a value over $1000.00 for the winners of our main competition.

All entries will need to received by Emmy Pellico of Battle Ground High School by May 9th 3:30pm by mail or hand delivered. Our judging will take place through the weekend and our awards reception will take place Tuesday, May 17th at 6:00 pm at Battle Ground High School. At this event, you will be able to view all entries and get an opportunity to see what other students are doing in S.W. Washington. Awards will begin at 6:30 pm and be complete by 7:00 pm.

If you can think of any classes in your school that could take advantage of this great opportunity, please help in getting this informational packet to them. Winning software and getting recognition for the work they do is wonderful incentive for your students. Finalist’s art work will be asked to be submitted by May 30th on disk for submission to Macromedia to display on their web page.
Art work will not be returned by mail. All artwork can be picked-up at the awards show.
