The CHS Boys Swimmers took a dive…and actually won the 3A District Swim Championship. When the water settled, the team scores were Camas 409, Mt. View 248, Columbia River 230 points. Individual results were as follows: Camas 200 Medley relay finished 2nd 1:41.00 and qualified for State, Seth Albert qualified for State by placing 2nd in the 200 free 1:57.17 Max Urbanek finished 3rd and Nick Panebianco was 4th. Kasey Calwell finished 2nd in the 200 IM 2:01.77, Lucas Ulmer finished 3rd in the 200 In 2:02.95 both are qualified for State, Ian Ulmer finished 5th in the 200 IM. In the 50 free Nick Kabel was first in a time of 22.32, John Utas was 3rd, and Jake Yraceburu was 6th. All 3 qualified for State. In the 100 fly Nick Kabel finished 3rd and qualified for State in 55.67, Trent Harimoto was 4th and Xiangyang Yan was 6th. In the 100 free John Utas finished 5th and Alistair Graham finished 6th.In the 500 free MaxUrbanek & Nick Panebianco finished 5th and 6th. Camas won the 200 free relay with a state qualifying time of 1:32.02. In the 100 backstroke Lucas Ulmer finished 3rd in a state qualifying time of 56.16 and Nick Langer was 5th. In the 100 Breast Camas finished 1, 2, 3, & 4. Jake Yraceburu won the 100 breast 1:01.20, Kasey Calwell 1:02.01, Ian Ulmer 1:06.35 and Joey Wunderlinch 1:10.02. Camas finished in 2nd place in the 400 free relay.
