Our Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) is designed to keep the administration and school board members informed with regard to community opinion, represent the interest of students, parents and the community in studying specific school problems, to promote the maximum interaction between the school board and the community and to raise community awareness of School Board decisions and policies.
The CAC is comprised of 25-30 Camas School District community members with representatives ranging from parents and students to interested parties and senior citizens. Every effort is made to include different viewpoints and geographic areas in the makeup of this group. Terms are three years long and meetings take place on the first Monday of the month from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., October-June, at Zellerbach Administration Center.
The CAC provides a forum where each member may have a part in shaping the future of the educational process and environment as it is developed.
