Summer school extends to middle grades

The Camas School District is pleased to announce a new summer school program that will offer middle school classes for students entering grades 6-9 next year. Reading, writing, math, and enrichment classes will be available much like the current elementary summer school. Dates for both the elementary and the middle school summer program are July 21-August 7. Registration forms will be sent home in June and will also be posted on this web page.

Extended day enrollment begins May 14

The Extended Day Program will open enrollment for the 2008-09 school year on May 14. The program provides a family-like atmosphere, which emphasizes positive interaction, self-control, decision making and self-responsibility. Developmentally appropriate activities encourage creativity and permit children the freedom to explore and learn through play.

Kindergarten Round-Up scheduled for May 14

It is time again for Kindergarten Round-Up! The purpose of this event is to meet teachers and staff, learn about the kindergarten curriculum, and take a ride on a real school bus! If you are not sure which school your child will attend please call the transportation department at (360) 833-5585.

Tom Wallenborn Golf Classic

The Camas Athletics Booster Club presents the 3rd Annual Tom Wallenborn Golf Classic Friday, May 23, 2008. Cost is $100 per player / $400 per team, and registration includes green fees, cart, lunch, goody bag and prizes. Proceeds benefit the CHS, Skyridge and Liberty Athletes.
